A Project & a Challenge for 2016

How are you feeling about 2016 being right around the corner? Me? I’m excited because I’m launching a new project and a challenge starting January 1st. I hope you’ll join me on one or both of these adventures.

#1 – Global Kitchen Project

1

One of the best things about traveling and living abroad is eating delicious new dishes. And one of the ways I “bring global home” is by cooking and baking my favorite foods from around the world. So I’ve decided that 2016 is the year of the global kitchen

I’d love for you to join me on a global baking adventure!

Each month I’m going to bake something from a country I’ve traveled to or want to visit. I’ll post the recipe on the SPS blog on the first Monday of each month. Then I’ll share my progress on Instagram – I hope you’ll follow along!

What am I baking in January? Check back on January 4th to find out!

#2 – #GlobalYou365 Journaling Challenge

8

You know what I most often hear from global adventurers when they return home after being abroad?

I know that going abroad changed me, but it’s SO hard to describe exactly how!

I know how frustrating that is. If you can’t articulate how you’ve changed and what you learned abroad, it’s nearly impossible to share your abroad experiences in a meaningful way in job interviews and with friends and family.

And lacking this self-knowlege makes it even harder to create the satisfying, meaningful, and sustainable global life you want.

The solution? Meet the new global you!

Get to know who you are now that you’ve been abroad. The #GlobalYou365 journaling challenge will help you do just that! Each month I’ll post journaling prompts – one for each day of the month. Download the month’s prompts and start writing! I’m doing this personal exploration right along with you, and I’ll share my progress on Instagram.

All you need to get started is a pen and 5 minutes a day. Just print out the prompts and start writing. You can begin anytime. If you’re already part of the SPS Community you’ll get an email with a link to the prompts each month. If you’re not yet part of the SPS Community, sign up below to get access to the #GlobalYou365 journaling challenge!
