November Blog Challenge – Join me?

Update: the November mini blog challenge is over but you can read the blog posts that several of us wrote in answer to the 3 questions I posed – question 1, question 2, and question 3.

Today I’m starting a challenge to blog every day for a month. Yes, every single day this month. So, if you subscribe via RSS or email, this is a warning that you’re going to get a higher volume of posts in November than usual!

Why every day for a month? Several reasons. I want to make blogging a higher priority and get back into a daily writing habit. I have 50+ half-finished blog post drafts, and I want to share all of the re-entry relaunch ideas, tips, and strategies in those drafts.

Most of all, I want to open up more about why I started SPS, my mission, and why I’m so passionate about helping people relaunch themselves after being abroad.

Several online people I know (like my nomad friend, Amy) just finished the Ultimate Blog Challenge, and they’ve inspired me to do the same thing in November. I have to admit, I’m excited…and a little terrified. 30 blog posts in 30 days – that’s a lot of blog posts!

Join me in a mini blog challenge

NovBlogChallenge

There are three topics I definitely know I’m going to write about this month, and so I invited Sabrina, my #GlobalLife2014 Summit Co-host, to blog about these topics on the same days so you could get two perspectives on each topic.

Then I thought, hey, wouldn’t it be even more interesting to read several perspectives on each topic? So I’m inviting you to join a mini blog challenge and blog about the topics below:

[callout2]

#1: What’s the weirdest or dumbest thing you’ve taken abroad?

Post your story on your blog on Wednesday, Nov. 13

#2: Tell us about your first “global” experience.

Post your story on your blog on Wednesday, Nov. 20

#3: How are you living a global life?

Post your story on your blog on Wednesday, Nov. 27

[/callout2]

Update: the November mini blog challenge is over but you can read the blog posts that several of us wrote in answer to the 3 questions I posed – question 1, question 2, and question 3.

Feel free to blog about all three topics or just one or two – it’s totally up to you! Let me know when your post is live so I can comment and share it around. You can email me (smallplanetstudio@gmail.com or add a link in the comment section of that day’s post).

You can also link back to this post, and if you share your post on social media, use #mygloballife as the hashtag.

Don’t have a blog? No problem. Share your story on the SPS Facebook page or in the comments on that day’s blog post. Or email me your story!

Next Steps…

1. Put the three blogging topics and dates on your calendar – November 13, 20 and 27.

2. Join the SPS Community and receive a couple reminders about this month’s mini-challenge, the Re-Entry Relaunch Toolkit, and blog posts delivered to your inbox! Sign up using the green box below.
